The single, a tribute to Cape Verdean music legend Orlando Pantera, is earning praise for celebrating Pantera’s brilliance, its fresh contemporary arrangement, and the beautiful dialogue between Brazilian and Cape Verdean musical traditions. The video has attracted thousands of views on Instagram and much much more on TikTok.
Even better, the song has been embraced and promoted by the Orlando Pantera Foundation for music and culture on Cabo Verde and received warm support from Cape Verdean communities all over the world.
